Feedback Loops
You are my feedback loop
My holy stable ground
My constant in the equation
Where I’m trying to find what’s sound
You are my feedback loop
I’m in love with who you are
I’m in love with what you create
I’m with you reaching for the stars
I’ll be your feedback loop
Relaying a written word
Make it echo in a string
Make a resounding yes to be heard
I’ll be your feedback loop
Help you know that you’re still alive
When someone is observing
You feel heard and recognized
I am your feedback loop
Relay a word that means so much
Sometimes “love” is too convoluted
So that’s why we don’t say it too much
They say actions are louder than words
But what if the action is listening to yours
Because every word you say
Means so much, you’re here another day…
If actions are louder than words
My action is to write
Canonize the feelings
In a digital gate and passage rite.
Put the action behind the words
Put the walk behind the talk
I’m reorienting the direction
In which falling feels like locks
Lock step and braiding
I will be near
Take another second
Don’t worry I won’t go no where
Relay across the pond
Put a message in my banner
I display I will be with you
Beyond time, and space, No matter
I’m singing to you over and over
Alone in my room
Waiting for your presence
On a feedback loop.
